Judy Benjamin, PhD, is living proof that the future of Alzheimer’s does not have to end in decline. A medical anthropologist with a PhD from Binghamton University, Judy built a global career solving some of the world’s toughest human challenges. When she was 67, Judy received the same diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease that had claimed her mother after a devastating 20-year decline. Instead of accepting the conventional narrative, Judy chose to challenge it. Through major diet and lifestyle changes, she became Dr. Dale Bredesen’s first success story—his original “patient zero.” Fueled by purpose, Judy became a National Board-Certified health and wellness coach and a ReCode certified coach with Apollo Health, founded her coaching consultancy, Access Longevity, and is dedicating her life to letting the world know that Alzheimer’s survivors exist. Lisa Feiner, MBA, M.Ed, NBC-HWC is a founder of Sharp Again, a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Brain Longevity Specialist, and ReCODE-Certified Coach. She is co-editor of the recently published Minding Your Memory: What You Can Do Now to Prevent Dementia and Stay Sharp for Life. Lisa has over 25 years of experience working with clients who have a range of health issues and has spent the past decade counseling individuals and their family members about addressing and preventing memory loss. She is committed to changing the conversation around dementia and speaks on a local and national level to academic, business and community groups.
